Students from St Catherine’s School decided to dedicate their 67 Minutes of community service for Mandela Day to the elderly.
Each child was asked to bring in a packet of soup.
The soup was prepared by teachers at the school and transported to SAVF Die Anker, an old age home, in the area.
With the help of the COPs (Community Outreach Project students) the soup was served to the elderly for lunch.
