During the past term, all the pupils of St Catherine’s School have been collecting both old and new school shoes.
The campaign was named “Walk a Mile in my Shoes”.
All the shoes will be donated to the Germiston Child Welfare on the May 16, as part of the school’s Founders Day celebrations.
The pupils were offered the opportunity to write a special message to the child who will receive the shoes they have donated.
