The Primrose police recently arrested two men at a store in Rietfontein Road, for shoplifting.
The men, aged 27 and 31, were arrested after the manager saw them walking around the store, placing items from the shelves into a plastic bag they were carrying.
He followed the men, to see if they would stop at the till and pay for the items; when they didn’t he stopped them and asked them if he could search their plastic bag.
He found a number of stolen items in the bag and called the Primrose police.
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the two men.
