The Germiston SAPS recently mounted a stop-and-search operation.
During one of the searches, in Power Street, they found a man who had dagga in his possession.
Officers decided to search the house at which the man was staying and, during the search, officers found 27 bags containing dagga.
The total weight of the bags found was 68.2 grams, with an estimated street value of R1 000.
“The 31-year-old man was arrested by officers detained at Germiston Police Station,” said WO Andre de Jager, spokesperson for the Germiston SAPS.
