The Primrose police recently arrested a 33-year-old man for assault GBH.
The arrest was made after officers received a call from a distraught woman, claiming her husband had just assaulted her.
When officers arrived at the scene the woman explained that she had been with her husband when he received an SMS that read: “Hi love, I miss you.”
After reading the message she began to question her husband, who became incredibly angry and violent and began to assault her.
Officers arrested the man and transported him to the Primrose Police Station.
