The Germiston SAPS arrested a 27-year-old man, on Wednesday, on a charge of attempted rape.
It is alleged that he wanted sex from his wife, but she said no, and after he tried to force her she managed to escape from their house in Germiston and called the police.
“The man was detained at the Germiston Police Station and was due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court on Friday,” said WO André de Jager, spokesman for the Germiston SAPS.
