Employee found with stolen gold dust

Ten kilograms of gold dust found in employee's possession.

A 38-year-old employee at Rappa Holdings was arrested by the Primrose police on February 21.

The arrest was made when one of the company’s security guards found bags of gold dust in an employee’s possession.

The bags weighed an estimated 10kg.

The company called the police and officers arrived on the scene moments later, to arrest the man.

The suspect appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed for trial.
