Germiston’s SAPS Crime Task Team and the EMPD recently arrested a Kenyan man for forgery and uttering.
The arrest was made during a stop-and-search operation, in Primrose.
Officers stopped a vehicle for a simple search and found that the driver was in possession of two forged driver’s licences.
During questioning it was discovered that he had bought the documents in Johannesburg.
He told officers he had paid R2 000 for each licence.
The man was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
