EMPD officers recently arrested a 38-year-old man for possession of dagga.
The arrest was made on the corner of Gorst and Orchid streets, while officers were patrolling the area.
They noticed a suspicious-looking man standing on the corner so they searched him and found a black plastic bag containing the dagga in his possession.
The officers arrested the man and transported him to the Primrose Police Station.
He later appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed for trial.
