Heat wave warning issued

Try and stay cool as heat wave warning issued.

The South African Weather Services has issued an alert for extreme temperatures across Gauteng and other parts of the country today.

“In order for the current temperatures to be considered as a heat wave they have to be at least five degrees higher than expected temperatures for this time of year, and they have to last for more than three days,” said forecaster Puseletso Mofokeng.

They include dizziness; vomiting; muscle cramps; headaches; flushed skin and excessive sweating.
