The water supply to the Spruitview area was restored late on Wednesday afternoon, following repairs to the reservoir supplying the area.
The metro began refilling the reservoir just after midday after a theft incident on Tuesday evening caused a malfunction of the reservoir’s systems.
The metro apologises for the inconvenience caused by the unplanned interruption.
