The Germiston Lake Park will be closed on December 6, 7 and 8.
The metro will, over this weekend, be hosting the International Gospel Festival, which is set to attract about 10 000 visitors to the facility, on the Saturday and Sunday.
To ensure the safety of those who will be at the park, the metro has taken a decision to restrict general access for that weekend.
The metro apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by the closure of the facility.
