Drunk drivers feel the wrath of the law

EMPD nabs drunk drivers.

Eight people were arrested by EMPD officers, on charges of drunken driving, last weekend. WO Zacharia Mohodu, from the Primrose SAPS, is seen with the suspects.

Members of the EMPD conducted an operation in Primrose, last weekend.

During the operation they arrested eight people on charges of drunk and driving.

“The Primrose SAPS management team thanks the EMPD officers for the successes achieved and hopes that, together, the SAPS and the EMPD can make Primrose a safe place to be,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS.

The suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and most of them were released on bail, while some had their cases postponed for trial and remained in custody.
