Water wastage seems to be a comment sight in Martin Street.
Water gushes into Martin Street in Tedstoneville from a “blue covered” water connection box.
The blue cover of the box is almost completely submerged by the water leaking from it.
Another water leak this time from “yellow cover” water connections are meant to be used as water connections for fire hydrants.
The water has been leaking for a few of months and although a concerned resident has reported the leak to the metro a number of times, nothing has been done to fix it.

Hi,ever since this problem was placed in the newspaper. Residant at 36 martin street,I have already phone several times and got a reference number 873999. I was then told that it would be 24 to 48 hours then the problem would be fixed( that was when the water was leaking for more than 2 weeks) then by miracle they came to fix the water leakage down the toad at no 42, then the water stopped leaking by our premises( outside the fence,as shown on your pic in newspaper), BUT then my trouble started again whereby the water pressure was very very low. I phone again and was told that they will use the same ref number and seeing that it is a water pressure problem they will sort the problem in 24 hours. It has been 3 weeks and several phones calls AND still no proper water pressure. I have stressed out to them that this problem will affect my geyser and my washing machine( I have to pay when the appliances break not them) Please if someone could just do something to the problem. Thank you
