Ward 39 DA councillor Michael Kriek has been trying to get the metro to remove the black plastic bags that were left behind on both sides of the street in June, by contractors cleaning the gutters in Dewlish Avenue, Dinwiddie.
Kriek said, “I have sent weekly emails to the roads and storm water department, and I am told they will come and remove it every week, but have not seen any results yet.
“This is just another example of poor service delivery by the metro.”
