The Primrose police arrested a 35-year-old man for possession of stolen copper, on Wednesday.
The police were out patrolling in Mignonette Road, when they noticed a suspicious-looking van.
They stopped the driver and searched the vehicle, and found the copper.
The driver could not tell the officers who the copper belonged to so they arrested him.
