The Elsburg SAPS arrested four people for possession of counterfeit money, in Tedstonville, recently.
Const Daphney Phooko, communications officer for the Elsburg SAPS, informed the GCN that Capt Johannes Vesi received a call from a local liquor store.
“The complainant said four people came into the store and bought small items with fake R100 notes,” explained Phooko.
They were caught and arrested by the Elsburg SAPS and are expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
