A couple has been accused of assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, in the Makause informal settlement, in Primrose, recently.
“The alleged victim laid a charge of assault with the Primrose police,” said Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“She claims she was at her shack when the woman assaulted her and was then joined by the man.
“Our dedicated detectives followed the leads and the couple was arrested.”
He also said that the victim sustained injuries.
The suspects will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court, soon.
