The metro wishes to inform Germiston residents that parts of the area will experience a power supply interruption today (Thursday) between 9am and 4pm.
This is due to Eskom’s maintenance work scheduled at the Elsburg substation.
The power supply cut will affect Elspark, Graceland, Gruyvagen Park and parts of Elsburg.
The municipality emphasises that maintenance of substations is essential for the reliability of the power supply.
The metro apologises for the inconvenience this will cause.
