A 61-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence, in the Makause informal settlement, in Primrose, recently.
Const Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police, said the victim laid a charge against her boyfriend, accusing him of assault.
The man appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and received a warning.
