“Anonymous” sent the GCN a photo, taken while passing Rand Scrap Iron, in Germiston, recently.
“I noticed a man hanging on the back of the truck while it was going at about 60km on the road,” said “Anonymous”.
“Out of nowhere, pieces of scrap steel were being thrown from the back of the vehicle and onto the road; I was dodging debris, trying to avoid being hit.”
The photographer wants to warn other motorists to be careful when driving in that area of Germiston.
