Students ready to work hard

New hotel school set to train East Rand youngsters.

The Peermont Community Benefit Trust (PCBT), one of Peermont Global’s CSI initiatives, has established the Peermont Hotel School, at a cost of R3.5-million, on the grounds of Emperors Palace and has accepted 72 students into its first “Class of 2016”.

The students, who will receive training to become waiters, chefs and housekeepers, were welcomed to the school before starting their courses by trust chairman Tshidi Madima and trustee Vusi Zwane, on Tuesday.
