This year’s installment of the 1 000 Bike Show was a success. The event was held at the Germiston City Sports Club, last Saturday and Sunday. The chairperson of the organising club, Germiston’s Classic Motorcycle Club (CMC), Rusty Thorns, stands next to the oldest motorcycle that was on show this year. The 1914 Clyno 770cc is owned by Piet Maas.
Germiston resident Gareth Ireland put some of the motorcycles he has rebuilt on display.
