SPCA reaches out to the community — Warning some images are not for sensitive readers
The staff from the Germiston SPCA are doing outreach projects into the informal settlements.
One of the aims of the Germiston SPCA is to educate pet owners to take proper care of their animals, to prevent them becoming malnourished. They also want to promote sterilisation in order to prevent unwanted litters.
Manager of the Germiston SPCA Laurence Kingston hands out pamphlets to children, to teach them how to look after their pets, during a recent outreach project in the Good Hope informal settlement. For more photos (including a number not for sensitive readers) visit www.germistoncitynews.co.za
