Bertha Gxowa Hospital hosted a successful open day outside the hospital’s main entrance, on Thursday. During the annual event Colleen Raphalo, Muriel Mmola and Sr Melanie Pillay taught visiting community members more about the maternity and neo-natal ward at the hospital.
Mercy Malangabi, Takalani Mutamba, Bheki Nhlapo and Ntombenhle Vilakazi taught the community more about the Bertha Gxowa Hospital’s psychiatric ward, and Mental Health Month which is celebrated in October.
The National Blood Labs where represented at the Bertha Gxowa Hospital’s open day by Ntahdo Nyandeni and Sibongile Ndlamlenze.
