Red Cross helps keep the homeless warm

Germiston Red Cross members and members of the SAPS took to the streets, recently, to hand out blankets.

With a group of beneficiaries are: Glen Muvhali (Red Cross, front, left) Lieut-Col Eric Khoza (SAPS), Sgt Olga Masethla (SAPS), Titus Baloyi (Red Cross), Enos Nemokondeni (Red Cross), Simon Ngwenya (Red Cross) and Const Queen Sibeko (SAPS).

Glen Muvhali (Germiston Red Cross) tucks up a man already asleep on his cardboard.

Simon Ngwenya (left) and Glen Muvhali, from the Germiston Red Cross, put a blanket around a woman who was wandering the streets cold and afraid.
