Hospitals celebrate the birth of five Christmas babies
Proud new mom's snuggle their Christmas miracles.
The maternity ward staff members at the Bertha Gxowa Hospital, were thrilled to welcome four babies to the world on Christmas Day.
The first baby born on Christmas Day at the Bertha Gxowa Hospital, arrived at 3.20am. The baby boy weighed 2.94kg and was 52cm in length with the head circumference of 35cm. Here proud mom Nokuphowa Kwinana holds her precious baby boy.
Catharina Chavinda’s baby boy Emmanuel was the second Christmas baby to arrive at the hospital. He was born at 3.56am and weighed 2.735kg at birth. He was 43cm in length with the head circumference of 35cm.
Yet another baby boy was delivered at the hospital on Christmas Day. The baby boy arrived at 5.15am and weighed 3.68kg, he was 52cm in length at birth with a head circumference of 36cm. Here new mother Zoliswa Babu cuddles her bundle of joy.
The Bertha Gxowa Hospital’s only Christmas Day girl was born at 6.15am to proud mom Clara Mutungura. Baby Nomonde weighed 2.66kg at birth and was 49cm in length with a head circumference of 33cm.
Life Roseacres Clinic also welcomed a baby on Christmas day. The baby boy, named Lethabo, was born at 3.15pm to proud mom Nthabiseng Makoanyana. He weighed 3.36kg at birth and was 49cm in length with a head circumference of 36.5cm. Both mommy and baby are doing well.
